Our project goal is to create a consistent and seamless insurance experience that aligns with modern lifestyles. Through extensive research and design, we developed a streamlined and scalable framework with a coherent visual language. This framework effortlessly accommodates the exponential surge of Asuransi Astra's illustrious offerings and avant-garde solutions. By leveraging innovative design thinking and user-centered approaches, we aim to revolutionize the way insurance is perceived and accessed, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience for both existing and potential customers.
Background:
As part of Astra Group, one of the leading automotive companies in Indonesia, Asuransi Astra is also known for their car insurance called Garda Oto. Currently, Asuransi Astra has two mobile applications – Otocare for selling car insurance and Medcare to cater towards employees' health insurance. The Astra website showcases all the insurance products they currently have. Along with their strong reputation, Asuransi Astra aims to expand its products and services and reach a wider target market among millennials. Therefore, their service needs a better foundation and overhaul in order to become an Insurance Super App.

How might we create a streamlined and scalable framework with coherent visual language to effortlessly accommodate the exponential surge of Asuransi Astra's illustrious offerings and avant-garde solutions?

The features

Home

Aside from being a place for users to return, the homepage is the place where the users can view their product and usage summary and discover other features and products.
Protection – In this section, we are humanizing and touching the customer's emotional aspect of active insurance through the people or posessions they care about.
Deals – This section provides users with an opportunity to explore the benefits they can avail of if they have already purchased insurance. By clicking on the benefits, users can claim them.
Reminder – Experience a calm and seamless approach when dealing with insurance. With thoughful interactions, we gently nudge users to remember annual insurance payment.
Products – Showcasing six primary insurance offerings, each holding the promise of protection. This reflects the distinctive style and commitment to ensuring users' peace of mind.

Navigation

The bottom navigation allows users to have more clarity on the app's primary features at once. They can easily access their Home, Policy, Deals, and Profile.

Policy

Policy (Polis) allow users to access all the detail information and transaction related to their insurance. It is divided into 3 categories; Buy Insurance, Policy Transaction, Claim Status.

Switching between these tabs gives users the ability to purchase insurance products, view active policy transactions for each product, and view policy claim status.

Global Button

We've highlighted the 'Global' button at the bottom navigation as a key indicator for quick access to main actions in the insurance service - claiming your insurance, view past transactions and also for any emergency assistance.
This directs users to a central point in the app, where they can quickly identify and get to what they need to in whichever page they are at.

Product Information

Scalable section to host the growing updates on product information without drastically changing the page.

Help Center

Since insurance tend to be rather complex, the help center helps users to learn about different product offerings, procedures in the event of an accident, or other frequently asked questions with the option to ask questions directly to customer service for further clarity.
