Background:

As the coronavirus pandemic spreads, parents all over the world have been struggling to educate their children in the absence of traditional teaching practices. With schools and child care centers being closed, many parents are juggling the demands of remote learning and their own professional work. And while some parents are figuring out ways to lighten their burden, many say what's needed are systemic changes to work, education, and child care.

Together with our friends at HEI Schools Senayan, we've taken a stab at exploring new ways to improve the delivery of quality early childhood education to support local and eventually global communities to empowering kids to shape their future.

Our team came up with two modes of learning as an integral part of the solution to foster early childhood education at home, the parentally guided activities and the self-directed learning.

Inspires kids to feel responsible for their education, and gives them a sense of independence.

A space where parents can connect with one another, share resources.

Track learning progress and use personalized learning to the maximum extent possible.

The Parent Dashboard

Parenting 101
Bite-sized and easily consumable guiding materials will motivate parents and provide them with knowledge on effective teaching. For example, setting up the right learning environment at home will help their kids to "be at their optimal learning state of mind."
